Who are ReSPIN Gambling Harm Community Educator volunteers?
ReSPIN Gambling Harm Community Educators have a lived experienced of gambling harm, either from their own gambling or from the impacts of another person's gambling.
They share their story of gambling harm and recovery with community and corporate groups, health care services and the media, with the aim of educating, influencing change and decreasing stigma in the community.
Interested in becoming a ReSPIN volunteer?
We are looking for people who:
- Are willing to share their lived experience story of gambling harm to help others (either at face to face events or online)
- Are in stable recovery (either from their own gambling or form the impacts of another person's gambling) and feel willing and able to share their story with the community.
- Are willing to complete the ReSPIN training
- Live across Victoria - ReSPIN is a statewide program and we recruit volunteers from all across Victoria
